Abstract

Tariq Aziz is a famous T.V host, columnist, actor and poet. He is a poet of Punjabi as well as Urdu language. His poetic creation in Punjabi language is “Hamzaad Da Dukh”. In this book, he has presented the bitter experience of this world through his poems. He has longed for an ideal world which is free from poverty, ignorance, miseries and other disasters. He has expressed his views in a few words so pithy manner is a uniqueness of his style. In this article an attempt has been made to explore his themes and analyze his literary devices through suitable references from his verses.
