Abstract

Modern Siraiki poetry is inter connected and interwoven with its classical approaches. The Anecdotes of this poetry is deeply rooted with its land and people. Having individual Geographical identity, people have their own moral, cultural and social norms and values. They have their limited appetencies. Land Lords of this land one so cruel that they remain oppressor for simple, poor and innocent people. Modern Siraiki poets have courage to speak against these cruel people and system of tyranny openly through their writings. Their Land (dharti) is their mother. Their Samaj is paradise for them. Poor people with their young daughter spend their lives like thieves. Paternal duties of wedding of their young (dhis) girls. The natives of this land are true picture of poverty simplicity. They do not have lost for have lust for heaps of wealth. They never try to snatch the bread of the others. They are courageous enough to face cruelties of the Sardars and Landlord openly.
