Abstract

Among the modern Punjabi  storytellers, Qadir Yar has a prominent position .He opened his eyes in Mauza Machike( Gujranwala) and received a modest education, but despite this, the completeness of his writings is rarely found among other writers of his era that made him unique in creativity .His characterization is also applausable. Qadir Yar is well aware of the tradition of storytelling in the Punjabi language. He is also famous for writing Mearaj Nama, Raja Risalo, Sohni Mahinwal, as well as writing Hari Singh Nalwa di War. The kind of religious devotion and humility and reluctance found in the religious story is understood by him, which also proves his poetic greatness. Qadir Yar's poetic thought is also expressed.
