Abstract
In Punjabi literature and Language Sajjad Haider's name does not need an introduction. Punjabi Drama is incomplete without him. He was at home in Punjabi, Urdu and English languages. He was director programmes in Radio Pakistan. His major work includes four collections of Punjabi dramas in which he dealt with grim realities and bitter facts of society. His characterisation doesn't focus merely on appearances rather emphasizes on overall development. This article probes into his third collection of dramas entitled as "Bol Mitti Deya Baweya" by using qualitative method of research. This collection consists of his dramas where religious, symbolic and mystic aspects stayed prominent. The reaseacher aims to read between the lines to explore its semantic and pragmatic importance
